"Crosshair" is a tool for helping you to place Rwy12 objects in FS2004. The program by Gary (gman) Mills, Robert  Finnegan and  Kevin Bryan was uploaded at avsim on Sep. 10th (file name: chplus.zip).

"As an avid Rwy12 and Gmax user, I often found it difficult to accurately place many of the objects I created because an aircraft is too big for a placement tool.
There are some other placement tools available, but they still dont work right.

The best aircraft I found for placing small objects, was the Unreal Aviation Jetpack, by Kevin Bryan.Being much more compact than anything else available, it gave you the clearest view of the spot you were placing something.
But it gave very little profile to square it up with anything."

Crosshair is actually an add-on aircraft and is installed as such, but instead of normal textures you see the crosshair with a meter scale.

After you install the a/c start FS9 and go to the Manufacturer listing, scroll down to FinneyGround, and you will find the Crosshairs_Plus models. Slew around and place the cross where you want the center of the object to be, but keep in mind that the center will be where the object designer chose it to be, so you have to practice with each object group.
